Win more work.
Paperwork handled.
Keep more money.
The senior team a regional civil contractor can’t justify hiring full-time, bolted straight onto your business. We win the work, deliver it profitably, and build the systems and people behind it. Run personally by Heath, not an agency.

Built for the work that happens a long way from the city.
Most tendering and admin help is written for metro jobs. Ours isn’t. We price and write for the job as it actually runs out there, because that’s where we’ve run it.
Distance & logistics
Mobilising crews and plant hours from the nearest town, through wet seasons and over holidays. We price the logistics the city firms leave out, the ones the Superintendent finds at the first progress meeting.
Access & the spec
Remote community pavement, DRFA reconstruction, hard-rock and resources sites, written to the MRTS series and QRA audit requirements, not metro commercial norms.
Thin on the ground
Out here the field is thin and good contractors lose work on the paperwork, not the capability. We're the pre-contracts and delivery team you can't justify hiring full-time.
One team. One thread. Tender to completion.
One team carries the job from the first tender to the final claim, with everything in between. No hand-offs, nothing dropped between the bid and the build.
- 01
Tender
Win the work. Estimating, methodology and the bid that scores.
- 02
Mobilise
Systems, QA and site plans in place before the first crew arrives.
- 03
Deliver
Embedded project management and delivery, protecting the margin.
- 04
Complete
Claims paid, closeout clean, and a stronger business for the next one.
Most give you the bid or the build. We give you both, and the bit in between.
From tender to profitable completion.
Most contractors piece it together: a bid writer who vanishes after lodgement, a project manager who arrives once the job is won, a consultant for the paperwork. One team, no hand-offs.
- 01
Bid / No-Bid Assessment
We review the scope, site conditions, contract framework, and your capacity before you commit.
- 02
Tender Strategy & Methodology
Construction methodology, program, staging diagrams, and compliance matrix, written to your contract conditions and structured the way evaluators score it.
- 03
Submission & Pricing Support
Full submission compiled, reviewed, and finalised before lodgement. Price build-ups checked against your methodology so your numbers and your story match.
- 04
Mobilisation & Delivery Setup
IMS, QA frameworks, and site-specific management plans ready before your first crew arrives, so you're not writing documents while you're trying to run a job.
- 05
On-Site Delivery Support
Contract administration, progress claims, cost forecasting, and Superintendent correspondence, managed properly so variations stick and nothing falls through on final account.
- 06
Close-Out & Capability Build
QA closed out cleanly, as-builts in order, and a documented record of what worked. Every engagement makes your next submission stronger.
Not submitting is the expensive option.
Most regional contractors are strong on site and thin on paper, so the good jobs slip past unbid, or slip away in the submission. Either way the field never gets a say. Here is the maths on a single $2M job you should have won.
The margin on the job, gone. Skip the bid and that’s a certainty; lose the bid and it’s the same number. Either way the next one starts from a blank page.
A one-off to build the submission the way the panel scores it. Yours to reuse on every bid, so the maths only improves.
Spend a fraction of one win to stop leaving the rest on the table. On a $500k job it is about $50k gone; on a $10M job, about $1M. The bigger the job, the more lopsided it gets.
Indicative, at around 10 per cent margin. We scope the real numbers with you.
Built from real delivery, not theory.
Remote roads, drainage, sealing and reconstruction across regional Queensland and New South Wales. This is the work behind the advice.

The principal behind RIG has managed the delivery of more than $133 million in government roadwork, including a flood recovery program that took out the 2025 CCF Queensland Earth Award.

The contractors I see losing tenders they should win all have one thing in common: their submission doesn’t reflect their capability. The methodology is vague. The program doesn’t stack up. The management plans look like they were copied from another submission. I built RIG to fix that.
Consultants give opinions. Practitioners give answers.
RIG wasn’t built by consultants who study government roadwork. It was founded by a practitioner with a career spanning $133M+ in DRFA and government road reconstruction, writing the methodologies, building the programs, and managing the relationships that kept those projects compliant and profitable.
Meet Heath and the teamA partner, not a competitor.
Everything we learn across the network goes back into your business. These commitments shape every engagement.
A partner, never a competitor
We never tender against you or chase your clients. Your work stays yours. That is what lets us back contractors, tradies and builders across regions and trades at the same time.
One team, tender to completion
The same team that wins the work delivers it, so nothing drops between the bid and the build. One thread from the first tender to the final claim.
Direct founder involvement
Heath does the work, with a career spanning $133M+ in government-funded roadwork delivery.
Aligned to your result
Our commercial model sits with your outcome, not billable hours. When your job is more profitable, so are we.
Contract-framework alignment
Written to your framework from day one, QRA, TMR, TfNSW, local council, or otherwise. We work to your conditions.
Systems and documents you own
Purpose-built documents, systems and capability for your business, built to make you stronger for the next job, not locked to us.
Your tender resource, always on.
Tendering is the first thing that slips when you get busy on site, exactly when you can least afford to miss the next job. We sit outside the day to day and keep the pipeline moving while you deliver.
The people who’ve worked with Heath.
Heath's leadership was central to the project's success. He managed logistics, people and production with clear direction, keeping a complex operation steady under pressure.
His proactive approach and clear communication were key to the project's success, subsequently recognised with a CCF Queensland Earth Award.
Answers, straight.
The questions contractors ask before they pick up the phone.
What does Remote Infrastructure Group do?
Remote Infrastructure Group (RIG) is the bolt-on pre-contracts, delivery and business growth team for regional civil contractors. One team carries the job from the first tender to the final claim, across DRFA disaster reconstruction, TMR contracts and regional council civil.
Does RIG compete with its clients?
No. RIG is a partner, not a competitor. We never tender against our clients or chase their work. That is what lets us back a range of contractors, tradies and builders across different regions and trades at the same time, and pour everything we learn back into each of their businesses. Your work, and your relationships, stay yours.
Who does RIG work with?
We work with regional and remote civil contractors, tradies and builders across Australia, typically firms strong on site but under-resourced on the tender, delivery and business side. We keep every client relationship confidential.
What is DRFA and does RIG do DRFA tenders?
DRFA is the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements, the joint Commonwealth-State program that funds reconstruction after declared natural disasters. It is the core of what RIG does. We prepare and support DRFA reconstruction tenders to the TMR MRTS specification series and the Queensland Reconstruction Authority's audit requirements, and we embed in delivery on remote DRFA packages.
How is RIG different from a normal tendering consultant?
A tendering consultant writes the bid and hands off. RIG carries the job from the bid or no-bid call through delivery to the final claim. We are principal-led and built from delivery: the founder has managed more than $133 million of government roadwork. And we get paid on outcomes, not billable hours.
Can RIG help with delivery, not just tenders?
Yes. Delivery is core to what we do. We embed as project manager on a fractional basis and stay on to protect the margin you tendered, with Superintendent review support, ITPs and audit-ready quality records, RFIs, variations, progress claims, cost forecasting and DRFA acquittal. We also build the systems, marketing and, where you need it, the staff to run the business behind the work.
What is a Company Brain?
A Company Brain is the system RIG sets up so a contractor's capability evidence, compliance, certifications and project records are structured, searchable and always submission-ready, with automations that track expiries and deadlines. It is the same system RIG runs on for its own work.
Where is RIG based and where do you work?
RIG is based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, and works with contractors across regional and remote Australia, with the deepest delivery experience in Queensland and New South Wales, including the Gulf, North West, Central and Far North Queensland and the NSW Mid North Coast.
Have you ever lost a job you knew you should have won?
Most contractors write their own submissions. Most contractors wonder why they keep losing. A short conversation will tell you whether RIG is the right fit.
